New Zealand 2-Year Inflation Expectations Rise In Q2
Inflation expectations for the two years ahead increased in the second quarter, data from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand showed on Thursday.
The inflation expectation for the next two years rose to 1.43 percent in the second quarter from 1.24 percent rise in the previous quarter.
Inflation expectations for one year ahead increased to 1.03 percent in the second quarter from 0.74 percent in the preceding quarter.
House prices are expected to fall 1.38 percent over the next one year and rise 3.19 percent in the two years ahead.
The unemployment rates in one-year and two-year horizons are expected to rise to 7.90 percent and 6.45 percent, respectively.
